Mind’s Eye Connections, Inc. is dedicated to collaborating with local organizations and communities to introduce Art Hives across Central Georgia. The Art Hives Network, part of a global movement, is committed to fostering arts-based social inclusion through various initiatives that aim to build communities and respond creatively to important issues.

Art Hive communities foster creative expression by providing safe spaces that are inclusive and accessible. Our approach at Mind’s Eye Connections is to begin by providing opportunities for our community members who may otherwise not have access to resources or social support to explore creative expression, whether through visual arts, music, creative writing, craftsmanship, movement, or any number of avenues for creative expression. Different from a meetup of artists, Art Hives focus on creativity as a dimension of wellness for all and we want everyone to feel comfortable with engaging in a creative process of self-directed learning, skill sharing, and self-expression.

Donations to our Art Hive program will directly support the acquisition of materials and enable local businesses and organizations to provide spaces, ensuring free access to community members. As the program evolves, we aim to involve our local Art Hive community in expanding into collective activities that promote social awareness.
